I started coming to UWS when a pinched nerve in my neck was creating a sharp pain along with numbness in my hands. The neck and shoulder pain was so bad that it prevented me from exercising, and the numbness in my hands was making it difficult to work as a programmer. I did not have much experience with chiropractic and can sum up my attitude towards it with one word: skeptical. The only other treatment I tried in the past was acupuncture, and had moderate success. Since starting care I have had excellent progress. Most of the pain in my neck is relieved with just a minor ache remaining. The sharp pain and numbness in my hands is completely gone. I can now work without pain and sleep through the night. I have also started to exercise again. The office and care provided is fantastic. The doctors and staff superb.
